DV Golf/Akron Golf Clubs - Dave Freed apprenticed in club repair and club making in 1968-72 with two master professionals in the greater Philadelphia area. Those professionals also taught him the proper method to instruct golfers that wanted to improve their scoring ability. That method influenced the instruction process that Mr. Freed has created as The 7-Point Akro-Pro System, into an easy-to-understand session from which all levels of golfers can benefit. Mr. Freed has owned and operated DV Golf, in Akron, OH, for over fifteen years. With the advent of new technology in the 80's, he decided to turn his knowledge and passion for golf into a full time profession. Learning about the new technologies and putting them together with good old teachings has become very successful. He holds or has held membership in many clubmaker associations, including The National Society of Professional Golf as a master in clubmaking, clubfitting, and coaching/instruction.
