Akron Golf Clubs - Dave Freed was taught golf clubmaking and golf club repair by two master professionals in the greater Philadelphia, PA area over thirty-five years ago. He focused on the golf club aspect for years. Those professionals also taught him the proper method to instruct golfers who wanted to improve their scoring ability.
In the past eight years, he started to refine some of the instruction techniques he learned from them.
That method influenced the instruction process into two easy-to-understand sessions from which all levels of golfers can benefit. Mr. Freed has created The 7-Point Akro-Pro System for basic technique, ball striking and consistency and The Akro-Pro Short Game System for better scoring.
You can learn the skills you need to play better in one session! It's much easier to improve than you think! He will not only help you with the process, he will make easy for you to make corrections for yourself if you drift away from the technique you learned in your initial session.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT LAUNCH ANGLE
If you are experiencing a launch angle that you feel is compromising your shots, we can help you with this particular problem.
Too high of a lauch angle is mostly created by improper technique in your grip, alignment, clubhead take-away or a combination of these factors. It is not solely an equipment problem.
We know this statment flies in the face of today's popular wisdom and club marketing! A lower driver loft for most golfers is NOT a very good idea and NOT a very honest evaluation by a lot of sellers of golf clubs. We have found that most times club sellers recommend that you buy a different club instead of evaluating your technique. Most club sellers don't even offer instruction, they just sell golf clubs!
We have been eliminating high shot launch problems for our clients for years. We have done this with proper technique evaluation and instruction to lower a golfer's angle of attack of the clubhead relative to impact with the ball.
