KZG GEMINI DRIVERS RECEIVE TOP RANKING FOR PERFORMANCE

Golf Test USA awarded both the Gemini 460cc with the highest score for overall performance. The highest score given to any driver in their April 2007 testing results. The Gemini 460cc also achieved the highest possible score from 0-9 handicappers in the individual categories of “Distance”, “Control” and “Accuracy”. The Gemini Drivers were tested against many of the leading golf brands such as Titleist, Cleveland, Nike and Mizuno.

KZG Golf has introduced what it considers a new and improved Gemini II 460 Drivers. “The Gemini II has been totally re-engineered and the performance has exceeded even our expectations,” reported Jennifer King, President of KZG. The next generation boasts that back and sidespin have been dramatically reduced and therefore off-center shots fly further and straighter.
Testing has been done to compare the original to the “II” model of Gemini. The Gemini II Driver reduced backspin by an average of 455 rpm (repetitions per minute), according to KZG. This decrease in backspin translated into an extra 6.6 yards in carry and an extra 13.1 yards in total distance, it said. In addition, sidespin was also reduced by 240 rpm in the Gemini II, according to the Company.
KZG has created a new identification system for its Gemini II. According to the Company, most brands incorrectly mark the lofts stronger than they actually are to appeal to egos and sell more clubs. KZG said that players think they are hitting a 9° but actually it’s an 11° as an example. KZG said to avoid the ego problem and confusion, and at the same time maintain standards of integrity, it now marks its drivers with launch angles: low (LL), mid (ML), high (HL) and super (SL).
ABOUT TRUE FORGINGS

True forgings are double-forged with a 50 ton air hammer and then hand ground and hand polished to exact specifications. The result is that all voids (air pockets) and any imperfections in the metal are eliminated, and the molecular structure is so tightly compressed that you get a consistent shot on every hit. The feel of forged is as soft as butter, the workability exceptional. It is these characteristics of consistency, feel and workability that are sought by better players and touring professionals.
Because avid players tend to play with forged irons, often in a blade style, many people incorrectly believe that forgings are difficult to play and are not designed for the mid to high handicappers. That is not true. The manufacturing process affects the metal characteristics, whereas the style and design of the iron head affects the playability of the club.
And, please don’t be fooled. Many manufacturers mark their clubs “forged” when in fact they are cast and then slightly squeezed under moderately high temperatures. These "fake-forged" clubs are sold under numerous names: “form forged”, “precision forged”, “coin forged”, and sometimes flat out mis-represented as “forged”. We’re amazed at how many people are fooled, even PGA Tour players. After these players hit a true forged iron, they are amazed at the difference in feel, consistency and workability.
